How many people are in these sessions?
We've reduced the capacity of these sessions by half to create smaller groups and a calmer experience.
Do the elves know Makaton?
Yes! Our elves are Makaton friendly to ensure everyone feels included.
Can we bring wheelchairs & prams into the Grotto?
Yes! We have reduced group sizes to accommodate everyone's accessibility needs. Please let us know beforehand at marketing@almondsbury.co.uk
Is the Grotto noisy and bright?
The Grotto offers an interactive experience, however, our SEN sessions have reduced lighting and noise.
Which ticket do I purchase for adults?
We offer two ticket types, 'Carer/Adult' ticket and a 'Child' ticket. If you plan on visiting the Grotto with a disabled adult or an SEN adult, please purchase a 'child' ticket.

Yes. We strongly recommend booking early, as our Christmas Grotto sells out every festive season.
Arrival Information
Please arrive promptly and ensure you are at the grotto entrance at least 10 minutes before your allocated time slot.
During the festive period, the garden centre can be extremely busy, so please allow plenty of time for parking, making your way through the site, and joining the queue before your visit time.
If you arrive late, we may not be able to accommodate your visit as this can cause delays for other guests. Unfortunately, late arrivals will not be able to join an alternative time slot on the same day and refunds will not be issued due to lateness.
We will always do our best to help where possible and may be able to arrange an alternative date, subject to availability.
