Marketing Assistant (3 days a week)

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive part-time (22.5 hours per week) Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Manager in delivering engaging campaigns.

This is a hands-on, varied role with a focus on keeping projects on track, managing timelines, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring both online and offline activity runs smoothly.

Alongside the organisational side, you’ll have plenty of creative opportunities from content creation and social media to events, community engagement, and exciting new projects.

This is a part-time, on-site role, with occasional weekend work during events and seasonal campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager in keeping projects on track
  • Manage the marketing inbox and engage with our online community
  • Liaise with suppliers, printers, and external partners
  • Coordinate in-store signage, POS, and print campaigns
  • Assist with website updates, product uploads, and email campaigns
  • Plan, create, and schedule social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Film and edit short-form video content; appear on camera when needed
  • Support event planning, promotion, and on-the-day coordination

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers and partners
  • Interest or experience in social media, content creation, or video editing
  • Comfortable being on camera

Desirable

  • Interest in gardening, home, interiors, or lifestyle
  • Event planning experience
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Experience using Canva, Photoshop, or similar
  • Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
