Where is the Grotto?

Tickets

Do adults require tickets?

Yes, all children must be accompanied by an adult who must also purchase a ticket for themselves.

How do i claim the early bird offer?

The early bird offer is only redeemable on our opening weekend (29th-30th November). Every FREE adult ticket must be purchased with a child's ticket.

Do babies need tickets?

Babies in arms are free to meet Santa (if you wish to receive a gift, a ticket must be purchased)

Arrival

What time should i arrive for my Grotto slot?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your Grotto time slot.

Late arrivals may not be admitted, and rebooking is not guaranteed due to high demand. The garden centre is especially busy during the festive season, so we recommend allowing extra time for parking.

Where is the Grotto?

Please make your way through the shop, follow the outdoor walkways, and turn right just before the first greenhouse.

Signage will be in place to guide you to the Grotto entrance.

Accessibility

Can i bring prams or wheelchairs into the Grotto?

Prams can be left in the designated buggy area outside the Grotto.

If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

If other accessibility needs are required, you may also find our SEN Grotto Day more suitable for your needs.

Is the Grotto SEN friendly?

We aim to make the Grotto a magical experience for everyone.

All of our elves use Makaton, and we recommend booking early or late time slots (9am–10am or 4pm–5pm), as these tend to be quieter.

This year, we’re also hosting a dedicated SEN Day on December 12th, featuring additional adjustments such as softer lighting, quieter music and smaller group sessions to create a more relaxed and supportive environment.
