This magical and more relaxed festive experience at Almondsbury’s Christmas Grotto is specially designed for those who may benefit from a quieter, SEN-friendly environment.

These sessions offer:

How many people are in these sessions?

We've reduced the capacity of these sessions by half to create smaller groups and a calmer experience.

Do the elves know Makaton?

Yes! Our elves are Makaton friendly to ensure everyone feels included.

Can we bring wheelchairs & prams into the Grotto?

Yes! We have reduced group sizes to accommodate everyone's accessibility needs. Please let us know beforehand at marketing@almondsbury.co.uk

Is the Grotto noisy and bright?

The Grotto offers an interactive experience, however, our SEN sessions have reduce lighting and noise.

Which ticket do I purchase for adults?

We offer two ticket types, 'Carer/Adult' ticket and a 'Child' ticket. If you plan on visiting the Grotto with a disabled adult or an SEN adult, please purchase a 'child' ticket.
