Compost Aerator

Sometimes referred to as a compost turner or stirrer, the Darlac Compost Aerator is ideal for anyone with a compost heap or compost bin. The T-shaped handle allows you to twist this garden tool easily while pulling from the heap, which is essential for maximum aeration, as well as greatly reducing wrist and shoulder strain that’s so often associated with L-shaped or single hand compost stirring models.

To use, simply push directly into the compost heap and twist. As the aerator is retracted, the ‘winged’ blades open and create pockets inside the compost, aerating as it goes. Much easier than forking over and far less backbreaking!
